Patrick Michael Pullum, age 64, passed away on September 3, 2026, at Otsego Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 8, 1962, to Benjamin Pullum and Maria Gardner.

Patrick devoted 31 years of his life to serving the people of Michigan as a Michigan State Trooper. His commitment to duty, strength of character, and willingness to help others reflected the kind of person he was: dependable, dedicated, and deeply caring. His years of service were a meaningful part of his life and a source of pride for his family.

While Patrick served many through his career, his greatest devotion was to his family. He will be deeply missed by his beloved spouse, Cindy Pullum; his children, Casey (Britney) Pullum, Lindsay (Matt) Verley, and Kelsey Pullum; and his mother, Maria Gardner.

He is also survived by his siblings, Michelle (Greg) Curry, Penny Johnson, and Brian (Maria) Gardner; and his grandchildren, Miles, Korbin, and Easton Pullum, and Kara, Noah, Elijah, and Joseph Verley.

Patrick’s family was at the heart of his life. The love he shared with them, fishing, golfing, trapping, snow grooming and the memories they made together will remain a lasting part of his legacy. He will be remembered not only for his years of service, but also as a, loving father and grandfather, cherished son and brother, and a steady presence in the lives of those who loved him.

Patrick was preceded in death by his sister, Julie Utt; brother Ben Pullum, nephew Justin Utt, his father, Benjamin Pullum; his stepfather, Stan Gardner.

Patrick leaves behind a legacy rooted in service, devotion, and love. Though he will be profoundly missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and in the many lives touched by his dedication and care
