Patrick J. Campbell

Patrick Joseph Campbell, age 66, of Mio, MI, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026. He was born on February 13, 1960 in Livonia, MI

Pat was raised in Livonia, MI. He loved the north country. Eventually he and his dog, Bandit, moved to the family cabin in Luzerne, MI. Pat didn't have much, but what he had, he was willing to share with family, friends, and strangers. He couldn't walk by a stranger without saying "Howdy" and talking to them for a while. If Pat saw someone, anyone, working on some task, he would stop and lend a hand. He was a member of the Mio Moose Lodge. His love for animals was synonymous with the famed "Grizzly Adams." Pat loved karaoke and was well known for his song, "The Wounderer." Pat had a heart of gold and will be missed.

Pat is survived by his mother, June Slusarski, brothers, Michael Campbell and Chris Campbell, and nieces, Amanda, Jamie, and Lacey. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward E. Campbell.

A memorial service is being planned for a later time.
