Patricia A. Stutesman

Patricia A. Stutesman, age 78, of Houghton, Michigan, formerly of Fairview, passed away Sunday, April 15th, 2007 at The Omega House in Houghton, MI.
Visitation Wednesday 1-9 P.M. at The Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, witha Rebekah Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services at the Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 19th, with Mr. Steven Gusler officiating. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service. Interment of ashes will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Pat was born on May 19, 1928 in Kalamazoo and moved to Fairview in 1947. She attended The Comins Mennonite Church and had been active volunteer at The Home at AuSable Valley Community and also for The American Cancer Society for more than 25 years. She had been involved in youth bowling and was a foster grandmother for the kindergarten classes at Fairview Schools. Pat was a member of the Mio Rebekah Lodge # 16. She enjoyed working and playing Bingo and going to the Casino
Surviving are her daughters: Judy (Ken) Strang of Sturgis, MI; Lynn (Dan) Glinn of Calumet, MI and Mary (Bob) Sanko of Pensacola, FL; sons: Ron Gusler (Bill Whittaker) of Prescott, MI and Gary Gusler of Pensacola, FL; sisters: Barbara, Martha and Nancy; brothers: Bob, Jerry, Dick, Norman, and Phillip 6 grandchildren, and 1 expected great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Melvin Gusler and second husband Ervin Stutesman, brothers Ed, Kenneth, Raymond and Fred and sister Mary Ellen.
