Patricia Ann Kubitskey

Patricia Ann Kubitskey (Little), passed peacefully at home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer, on March 21, 2025, at the age of 85.

Pat was born in Wayne, Michigan on November 27, 1939 to Hasley and Whilhelmina Little. She was married to Edward Kubitskey on January 18, 1958. They lived in Wayne, Michigan until 1969, at which time they moved to Red Oak (Lewiston), Michigan. She worked as a homemaker while their children were young, then ventured out into the job field. Pat began her career as an insurance agent, then transitioned to the bank as a teller, and worked her way up to vice president. She also served the community as the Treasurer for Greenwood Township for over 22 years. Over many years in the community, Pat and Ed enjoyed lots of great friends who came to their house for game nights, playing various types of card games and dominos. They also passed time going for rides through the country roads in their old, restored Jeep. Pat enjoyed going to the local library to pick up a new mystery novel to read, loved to plant yearly flowers in her front flower beds and vegetables in the raised garden beds Ed built for her, and worked number puzzles when it was too cold to be outside. She spent a lot of her time knitting and crocheting. Pat donated many of her finished craft products.

Pat is survived by her husband Edward Kubitskey, to whom she was married for over 67 years; her sons: Edward (Vicki) Kubitskey, Paul (Jami) Kubitskey, and Jeff Kubitskey; her daughter Catherine (Dan) Frailey; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Hasley and Whilhelmina; her brothers: Frank, Gene, and Richard; her sisters Clara and Elaine; and her son James.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Pat’s family will receive visitors on March 29, 2025 at the Greenwood Township Hall from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.

Memorial donations may be directed to the local Hospice Caregiver Support organization for the donor’s choice.
