Patricia M. Anderson

Patricia May Anderson, age 82, of Mio, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009, at her home.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Patricia was born on February 13, 1927 in Berkley, MI to Stephen and Grace (Marshall) Hurd. She married Joseph Anderson on September 9, 1950 in Birmingham, MI, where the couple resided for many years. Patricia worked in the cafeteria at Birmingham Schools, and also worked for Montgomery Wards for many years. She and Joseph moved to Mio 12 years ago from Birmingham. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and going to the casinos.
Patricia is survived by her husband Joseph Anderson of Mio; her children: Barry (Anna) Anderson of West Bloomfield, MI; and Patti Anderson of Mio, MI; her granddaughter Cristy Van Dyke of West Bloomfield, MI; and her great grandson Nathan Van Dyke. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Marion Hurd.
