Pat Kalbfleisch

Patrick Duane Kalbfleisch, age 49 of Lewiston, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at his residence after a courageous battle with diabetes, cancer and kidney failure.  Patrick was born September 2, 1963 in Marlette, MI, the son of Richard and Arvella (McCann) Kalbfleisch.  On April 12, 2003, he married Rochelle Handrich, with whom he enjoyed 10 years.  Patrick worked as a farmer and a machinist for many years.  He enjoyed farming and raising calves for 4 years with his wife.  Patrick also enjoyed golfing, bowling, snowmobiling, and spending time with his family.Patrick is survived by his loving, devoted, and caring wife Rochelle; his 3 sons:  Thomas (Danielle); Kodie (Nicole); and Ryan and 3 beautiful granddaughters:  Raichel, Brooklyn, and Hailey with whom he enjoyed spending lots of time. He is also survived by his parents:  Richard and Arvella Kalbfleisch; his brothers:  Mark (Vicki), Kenton (Violet), Nathan (Aimee) and Keith (Becky); his uncles and aunts: Tony & Marcella Beckwith and Dennis & Lora Kalbfleisch; his father in law Harry along with many nephews, nieces, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his aunts and uncles; his mother-in-law Elizabeth, his cousin Mike, and his nephew Kenneth.

Visitation on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, from 1-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan; and again from 9-11AM at Fairview Mennonite Church on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 until the time of Funeral Services at 11 AM with Pastors Virgil Hershberger, Phil Bontrager and Derek Yoder officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan.
