Owen Michael Parker

Owen Michael Parker, 85, of Fairview, MI, passed away Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, at his home in Fairview, Michigan.

Owen was born in Pontiac, Michigan on May 11, 1939, to George and Mildred (Owen)  Parker. He married Mary Alice Zander on April 28, 1972 in Union Lake, Michigan. He moved to Mio in 1974 to establish the Proto-Tube Plant in Luzerne. Owen retired in 1996, and he and Mary enjoyed traveling. Owen was a member of St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church. He was also a former member of the Comins Eagles and the Mio Moose lodges. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, hunting, attending NASCAR races, and Big Time Wrestling. Owen was a family man that loved his wife and all of his children and grandchildren.
Owen is survived by his wife Mary Alice of Fairview, MI; his children: Mike (Barb) Parker of Waterford, MI; Chuck (Gina) Parker of White Lake, MI; Ron (Evelyn) Parker of Mio, MI; Kathleen Marquette of Waterford, MI; Dawn Harwood of Mio, MI; Jim (Dana) Parker of Mio, MI; Todd (Sheila) Parker of Clyde, MI; and William (Dawn) Parker of Kimball, MI; his stepsister Shirley Crow of Florida; 39 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Todd Code, and his sisters Penny Hoyt and JoAnn Code.

In accordance with Owen's wishes, cremation has taken place. On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, visitation with Owen's family will be held at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan from 11 AM - 1 PM with a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM  with Mr. Joel Mitchell officiating.
