Nancy Louise Ellis

Nancy L. Ellis, age 85 of Lewiston, Michigan, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 17, 2022.
Nancy was born in Grayling, Michigan on November 18, 1936 to George and Cloya (Rood) Lowe. She married Frank Ellis on March 6, 1956 in Mio, Michigan. Nancy had worked at Ben Franklin and Bear Archery in Grayling, as well as at the old Mabel’s Restaurant in Mio and lastly, retiring from Prototube in Luzerne. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, mushrooming, berry picking, tending to her garden and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered as a wonderful doughnut maker.
Nancy is survived by her children: Bill (Carol) Ellis of Saginaw, MI; Jim (Yvonne) Ellis of De Funiak Spring, FL; and Marla (Ron) Oberliesen of Luzerne, MI; her 2 brothers: Dave Lowe of Ann Arbor, MI and Allen (Mary Ruth) Lowe of Roscommon, MI; her 5 grandchildren: Stephanie (Nick) Baldwin, B.J. (Sara) Ellis, Frank Ellis, Melisa Ellis, and Misty (Daniel) Deguzman, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, her brother and sister in law, Joe and Sandy Lowe, and her grandson Anthony Ellis.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
