Myron "Mike" Wiedbrauk

Myron,"Mike" Wiedbrauk,age 92 of Caro, formerly of Curran passed away Friday, June 28,2019 at Satchells Christian Retirement Home. Mike was born Oct 19, 1926 to the late Philo and Etta Wiedbrauk on the family farm, where in his early years he helped his father and also worked as a lumberman eventually taking a position as a powerplant electrician at Consumers power in Bay City. Mike eloped with the former Patricia Zimmer, and married on Aug 28, 1954. They lived in Saginaw and Reese where they were members of Caro First Baptist before retiring to Curran in 1991.They were members of Curran Baptist Church and Calvary Bible Church. Mike served as a Boys Brigade leader and as an Awana leader and Director. He also taught Sunday School for many years. Mike was an accomplished harmonica player. One was always with him.Whether it be at church or the grocery line at a grocery store,, Mike would bring out one of his harmonicas and start to play with with many listeners hearing one of his favorites, -What a friend We Have In Jesus-He touched many hearts with his music. left to cherish Mikes memory are his two children and their spouses, Diane and Willard Nusz of Caro and Tony and Kathy Wiedbrauk of Idaho, four grandchildren,Karen, Andrew, Melissa and Megan, six great grandchildren one brother and his wife, Curt and Mickey Wiedbrauk of Byron. Mike was preceeded in death by his wife Patsy, and sisters Hazel Phetteplace and Marilyn Li nce and brother Harry Wiedbrauk. place of interment - a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Curran Cemetary in Curran on Thursday , July 11th at 11am, with a luncheon to follow.
