Michael Joseph Warren

Michael J. Warren, age 56 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at his home on Friday, April 6, 2018.

Michael was born in Bay City, Michigan on January 29, 1962 to Carlton and Lillian Warren. He moved to Mio in 1971, at the age of 9. He met his wife Lori in 1980 and they married in 1984. Mike loved the outdoors: skiing, camping, and taking long walks in the woods. He loved playing hacky-sack, horseshoes, darts, and having “Guy’s Nights” with his friends.

Michael is survived by his wife Lori Ann Harper Warren of Mio, MI; his mother Lillian Warren of Sun City Center, FL; his children: Jacob Michaels Warren of Mio, MI; and Sheena Ann Warren, also of Mio, MI; his sisters: Dorothy Joswiak of Sun City Center, FL, Kathy Bloomer also of Sun City Center, FL, and Cindy Persall of Gaylord, MI; and his brother Butch Warren of Mio, MI. Michael also leaves behind his granddaughter Roxiona Harper, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Carlton Warren.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering and Service for Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 1 PM at the Oscoda County Community Center.
