Michael A. Struble

Michael A. Struble, age 55, of McKinley, formerly of Flint, MI, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010, at The Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview, MI. Graveside services held on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Mentor Township Cemetery, Mio, MI with Pastor Al Eastman officiating. Michael was born on October 31, 1954 to Bruce L. and Donna (Simmons) Struble and raised in Flint, MI. He worked for the GM Chevrolet Plant in Flint until his retirement in 2005. Michael moved to McKinley upon retirement where he and his family had a cabin for three generations. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Michael is survived by his son Steven Struble of Virginia Beach, VA; his sister Kim Verhelle of Fenton, MI; his brothers: Bruce Struble and Gregory Struble, both of Holiday, FL; his granddaughters: Calsey Struble and Kiarea Struble; and his special niece Michelle. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Gregory Struble. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
