Michael J. Ravary

Michael J. Ravary, age 70 of Mio, Michigan, formerly of Erie, Michigan, passed away at his home on Monday, February 12, 2018.



Michael was born in Monroe, Michigan on July 9, 1947 to Howard and Francis (Petee) Ravary. He served his country in the US Army in Vietnam. Michael owned and operated Mike Ravary Construction in Erie. He retired 16 years ago and settled in Mio, MI. He was a member of the Monroe VFW. Mike had enjoyed 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, motorcycles, fishing and hunting. He will be remembered as a prankster and for having a good time with his family and friends.



Mike is survived by his children: Joshua (Melissa) Ravary of Erie, MI; Dana (Billy) Raymond of Erie, MI; Scott Cupp of Belleville, MI; and Sean Peterson; his former wife Jan Ravary of Erie, MI; his brother Gerald Ravary; 7 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, and 4 brothers.



In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Monroe VFW Post #1138, 400 Jones Avenue, P.O. Box 1515, Monroe, MI 48161.
