Michael A. Parent

Michael Anthony Parent, 67, of Fairview, MI, passed away Sunday, July 19th, 2026 at home.

Mike was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on May 22, 1959, to the late Sally (Pawelczyk) and Herbert William Parent II. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mike had a gift for storytelling, captivating everyone with sound effects that made every story unforgettable. Above all, he loved being a dad, grandpa, and uncle.

Mike is survived by his children, Amy Parent, and Michael Pence, sister, Patsy Bondy, brothers, Herbert Parent III, and Robert Parent, grandson, Beau Parent, nieces and nephews, Nicole, Tammy, "Little" Billy, "DJ" Duke, and Mike Bondy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoHanna Parent, and nephew, Rodney Bondy.
