Missy was born in Charlotte, MI on February 4, 1969, daughter of Eva (Richards) and the late Pete Booth. She was a graduate of Adelphian Academy in Holly, MI, Class of 1987. Throughout her life, she called several Michigan communities home, spending 30 years in Davison before moving to Grand Blanc in 2023. She dedicated much of her working life to caring for animals and the people who loved them. Missy worked for the Humane Society of Genesee County and Dunckel Veterinary Hospital before spending the last 11 years as a receptionist at Pytel Veterinary Clinic in Goodrich. Her warm smile, kind heart, and genuine compassion made her a welcoming presence to the many families and pets she encountered. Her work reflected her love for animals and her desire to make a difference in the lives of others. On May 1, 1993, Missy married the love of her life, Robert Zubke, Jr. Together, they shared 33 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, and countless treasured memories. Their journey together was a testament to the beauty of a lasting partnership and the joy found in having someone by your side through life's many seasons. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball and later discovered a love for playing darts. She enjoyed cruising on the open ocean, getting lost in a good book, dinners with Heather and Chewy followed by a rousing game of cards, and, most of all, spending time with the family and friends who meant so much to her. One of her favorite places was her cabin in Tawas, MI, where she embraced every part of cabin life. She especially loved taking the pontoon boat out on the water to see the baby loons, finding joy in the peaceful surroundings and the special moments that made those times unforgettable.

Missy had a way of making ordinary moments meaningful simply by being part of them. Whether sharing laughter with loved ones, enjoying a favorite pastime, or relaxing at the cabin, she treasured the time spent with those closest to her. Her love for her family, her compassion for animals, and her appreciation for life's simple blessings were woven into the person she was and the memories she leaves behind. Though her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, the memories she created, the lives she touched, and the love she gave will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Missy is survived by her loving husband, Robert Zubke, Jr.; mother, Eva Booth; 4 sisters, Lenee Booth, Denise (Frank) Star, Renee (Richard) Peters and Sharon Booth; many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Pete Booth; brother, Dwight Booth and her mother-in-law, Marilyn Zubke.
