Mattie "Sue" Strunk

Mattie "Sue" Strunk, age 68 of Fairview, Michigan, passed away at Crawford Continuing Care Center in Grayling, Michigan on Sunday, May 27, 2018.

Sue was born in Kentucky on December 4, 1949 to Otto and Clara Fultz. She moved to Michigan as a child. Sue worked for Rochester Community School System for 20 years as a Transportation Specialist. She and her husband Dexter Lee retired to Fairview, MI about 9 years ago from Rochester, MI. Sue had worked for Comins Township for 4 years. She was a member of an antique car club.

Sue is survived by her husband Dexter Lee Strunk of Fairview, MI; her son Bryan (Julie) Young of Fort Wayne, IN; her step-children: Tammy, Ronnie Strunk of Lapeer, MI, and Larry (Sue) Strunk of Richmond, MI; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 brothers: Henry, Denny, and Glen Fultz.

Visitation on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 5 – 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, and again on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 1 PM until Funeral Services at 2 PM with Pastor Ron Janiszewski officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan.
