Mary Ellen Marciniak

Mary Ellen Marciniak passed away peacefully at AuSable Valley Community on December 23, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was 83 years old.
Mary Ellen was born in Detroit, Michigan to Enos and Clara Roberts. She comes from a family of 8 children, and is survived by her older sister Jeanette Breznau. She married Leonard Marciniak on May 25, 1957, and he preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by a son, Mark (Carmen) Marciniak, one grandson, Bryce, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Mary Ellen worked for General Motors for 10 years, and when she moved to Mio, she was employed by Brooks Wood Products.
In accordance with Mary Ellen's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mio, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2014 with Rev. Santiago Hoyumpa officiating. Interment of ashes to follow at Mentor Township Cemetery, Mio.
