Mary Irene Hoffman

Mary I. Hoffman, age 68 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Monday, April 2, 2018.

Mary was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on March 1, 1950 to Stanley and Dorothy (Socia) Holmes. She married Robert Hoffman on March 15, 1977 in Munising, MI. The couple lived in Mio where Mary worked as a Cafeteria Supervisor for Mio AuSable Schools. She enjoyed spending time outside 4-wheeling, camping, playing games with the grandkids, and going to the cabin in Newberry, MI.

Mary is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" Hoffman; her sister Patti (Skip) Ecker; her son Richard (Cyndi) Hoffman; her granddaughters: Jordyn and Meagyn; her step-daughter Denise Hoffman; her grandson Dale (Jessica) Cronk; her great-granddaughters: Jordan and Lillian; her granddaughter Amy Cronk; her great-grandson Gabriel; her step-daughter Debbie (Mark) Rose; her grandson James Rose; her step-daughter Kim (Jeff) Moomaw; her grandson Nick (Heather) Moomaw; her granddaughter Danielle (Lenny) Mac Innes; her great-grandson Leonard III; her step-daughter Anna (Ken) Harden; and her grandson Christopher Feaganes. Mary was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Holmes, her father Stanley Holmes, Jr., and her brother Stanley Holmes III.

Visitation on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 4 – 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI; and also on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 10 AM until Funeral Services at 11 AM, also at Lashley Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron Janiszewski officiating. Interment at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
