Marvin L. Coon

Marvin L. Coon, age 80 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at his home on Friday, December 4, 2020.

Marvin was born in Fairview, Michigan on November 2, 1940 to Abraham and Marjorie (Howard) Coon.  He was raised in Davison, Michigan; where he worked as a bricklayer for many Davison and Flint area contractors. He returned to Oscoda County and settled in Luzerne in 2006. Marvin enjoyed horse races, gambling, and shooting pool.

Marvin is survived by his wife Luann Coon; his children: Kim (John) Belcher and Shane (Summer) Krask; 13 siblings; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Tammy, his son Michael, and 4 siblings.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
