Mrs. Martha C. Radmore, age 103, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at The Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview. Visitation 3-9 P.M. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, and from Noon until Funeral Service at 1 P.M. Friday, March 7, 2008 at Lashley Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Severance officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Radmore was born on May 30, 1904 to Zeb and Carrie (Watson) Odette in Sioux Falls, SD., moving to Michigan when she was a child. She married Merle John Yeager in 1923 and lived in the Southfield/Warren area. Martha taught Sunday School in Lapeer. John preceded her in death in 1956. In 1957, she married Bill Radmore and moved to Bradington, FL. He preceded her in death in 1985. Martha moved back to Michigan in 1990 and lived in Fairview. She had attended both the Mio New Hope Assembly of God Church and the Mio Foursquare Church. Martha enjoyed crocheting and doing crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Radmore is survived by her children: Vivian Bales of South Lyon, Ml, Lois Ann McCombs of Roscommon, Ml and Merle Joyce Yeager of Oakland, Ml; her ""Daughter"" Sharon (Dennis) Gillis of Mio, Ml; her grandchildren: Kathy (Mitch) Mettscha, Gloria ""Corky"" Wheeler, Harry ""Butch"" Peterson, Bill Peterson, Dennis (Gwen) Bales, Carole Smith, Thomas (Sherry) Bales and Sharon Bell; 25 great grandchildren, 26 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband John, her second husband Bill, 2 infant daughters: Ida and Mabel, her brothers Roy Green and Charles Odette; her sister Dorothy Squires, and an infant grandson, B. Norman.
Memorial donations may be made to The Home at AuSable Valley Community or to Heartland Hospice in Martha's memory.
