Marlene Kleinebreil

Mrs. Marlene R. Kleinebreil, age 80, of Mio, MI, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Henry Ford Hospital-Macomb in Clinton Township, MI.
Marlene was born on December 22, 1931 in Detroit, MI to the late Louis and Mildred ""Millie"" (Mundt) Ritlaw.  She worked for many years as a meat wrapper for Farmer Jackâ??s grocery store in Detroit and for Kroger grocery store in Bay City.  Marlene moved to Mio from Bay City in the early 1970â??s where she married her husband Roy Kleinebreil, on November 25, 1977.  She also owned and operated Kleinebreil Adult Foster Care Home for 21 years, in both Bay City and Mio, with her husband Roy.  Marlene attended the Mio Church of God.  She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and spoiling her great grandchildren.
Marlene is survived by her husband Roy R. Kleinebreil of Mio, MI; her children:  Dale Ostroe of Greenfield, MO; Janay Ostroe of Fairview, MI; and Dean Ostroe of Phoenix, AZ; her stepson Troy Kleinebreil of Saginaw, MI; her grandchildren:  Jill (Todd) Koziol, Bryan Ostroe, Jacob Ostroe, Zachary Ostroe, and Olivia Ostroe; her great grandchildren:  Trevor Koziol, Nathan Koziol, and Jillian Ostroe; and her cousins:  Harlan (Janet) Richter and Shirley May (William) Levi.  She was preceded in death by her parents:  Louis Ritlaw of Tiberon, CA and Mildred ""Millie"" Berry of Fairview, MI, and her brother Dale Derda of Fairview, MI.
Visitation Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 1-4PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with Funeral services at 4PM with Pastor Mike Stadelmayer of the Mio Church of God officiating.  In accordance with Marleneâ??s wishes, cremation will take place following the funeral service.  Interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, MI.
