Mr. Mark Allen Snider, age 49, of Mio, passed away Sunday, October 29th, 2006 at his home.
Visitation Wednesday 1-9 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home. Funeral Services at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 2nd, with Reverend Glynn McMorris of The Mio Baptist Church, officiating. Private interment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris, MI.
Mark was born on Sept. 17, 1957 in Flint Michigan. He married Renee J. (Gipson) Snider on Oct. 13, 1984 in Genesee County. The family moved to Mio in 1989 from Burton, MI. Mark enjoyed riding his motorcycle and Jeep, working on and racing his Chevy Nova, camping and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his children, building wood projects in the garage, watching them play sports and working on their cars; listening, sharing and loving.
Surviving are his wife Renee; 5 children: Debbie (John) Hengy of Mio, Bryan (Kristy) Gipson of Mio, Chad Snider of Saginaw Valley, Michael and Brad Snider of Mio, 3 brothers: Albert (Thelma) Snider of Lewiston, William (Marian) Snider of St. Helen and Daniel Snider of Grand Blanc; 2 grandchildren: Brittany and Austin Hengy and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilburn & Florence Snider and 2 brothers: Wes and Lester Snider.
