Marilyn R. Lince, age 83 of Fairview, Michigan, formerly of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
Marilyn was born in Curran, Michigan on May 19, 1930 to Philo and Etta (Pearsall) Wiedbrauk. She was married to Jesse Eugene Lince, and upon his retirement, the couple moved to Zephyrhills, Florida. Marilyn worked as a manager for Otto's, a dress shop, following her husband's death in 1980. She moved to Stafford, VA, where she lived for 10 years before returning to Curran in July of 2013. Marilyn enjoyed knitting and crochetting, making over 30 afghans, one for each member of her family members.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters: Joan (Edwin) Fischer of LaCrosse, WI; and Avis (Paul) Kelly of Crestview, FL ; her sister and brothers: Hazel Phetteplace of Curran, MI; Myron Wiedbrauk of Curran, MI; and Curtis Wiedbrauk Of Byron, MI; and two granddaughters: Jessica Fischer and Anastasia Fischer. She will also be missed by "Clyde", her Amazon talking parrot, who is known for his clever sayings, laughter, mimicry of a dog's bark, and his own unique personality. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jesse Eugene Lince on April 24, 1980; and her brother Harry Wiedbrauk.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 4 - 9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 11 AM at Mitchell Township Cemetery in Curran, with Pastor Alan Kozlow officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
