Marie J. Quinn

Marie J. Quinn, age 68 of Comins, Michigan, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

Marie was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 13, 1956 to Walt and Del Lukasiak. She and her husband Dave raised their son Luke in Caseville, Michigan and lived there until their retirement in 2017, when they moved to Comins, Michigan. Marie was the office manager at Our lady of Perpetual Help Parish-St. Roch Catholic Church for 25 years. She also ran the parish Food Pantry and the Christmas gift program there. Marie had a heart of gold and touched the lives of everyone she knew. She will remain in her family’s hearts forever.

Marie was the beloved wife of David, devoted mother to Luke and Dana, and beloved grandmother to her grandsons Jackson and Liam. She is also survived by her brothers: Mark (Debbie) and Brian (Corky); her sister Chris, and many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mio, Michigan, with Rev. Santiago Hoyumpa as Celebrant. A period of visitation with family will take place from 10 – 11 AM prior to the Mass at St. Mary’s, with a luncheon to follow the Mass at the St. Mary Social Hall
