Maria Jean Brown

Mrs. Maria Jean Brown, 45, of Mio passed away Wednesday, September 26th, 2007 at her home. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at 4:00 PM at The Mio Church of God, Mio, Michigan. Pastor Mike Stadelmayer officiating with a benefit dinner at the church, for Maria's family, following the service until 8 PM.
Maria was born in Saginaw, MI on May 22, 1962. She was raised in McKinley and had graduated from The Mio AuSable School with the class of 1980. She also graduated from Kirkland Community College with an Associate in Applied Science in Message Therapy and Physical Therapy Aid. Maria worked for Dr. Paulson at Rose City Chiropractic Clinic.
She was the wife of Everett Brown and had attended The Mio Church of God Mio, Michigan. She also enjoyed all outdoor activities, car rides and music and had a great sense of humor. A special Thank-You is extended to her sister Su Zanne Abbe and Daughter Samantha Brown for the loving care they gave Maria during her long fight with cancer. She will be remembered as a very loving and caring Wife, Mother, and Friend.
Maria is survived by her Husband Everett; Daughter Samantha Jo Brown at home; Sisters: Darlene Medearis-Pope, Cherlynn Medearis both of Saginaw, Fran Brink, Su Zanne Abbe, Tawnee Green both of Vanderbilt, and Gina Abbe of Mio; Brothers: Darin Medearis, Allen Medearis both of Saginaw, Rev. Louis Medearis of Live Oaks, FL, Buck Abbe of Vanderbilt and Scott Abbe of Mio. She is also survived by her Father Royce Abbe (Ginger Sherwood) , Father-in-law Robert Brown and many nieces, nephews, cousins and her best friend Tina Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn, Brothers: Aldwin Medearis and Stanley Krok Jr.; Sister Janie Lynn Abbe; and Mother-in-law Ivy Brown.
