Margaret E. Stone

Margaret Stone passed away Friday night, June 2,2017. She was born Margaret Eva Bull on November 3, 1930 in Sterling, IL to Howard and Frances Bull. She moved to the Lake Orion area as a child and later met and married Richard Stone, Sr. from Lake Orion, who preceded her in death. Also preceding in death was her eldest son, Richard Stone, Jr.

Surviving are her sons Joseph Stone (Alice) and Patrick Stone (Valerie). Grandchildren Joseph Stone, Sandra Hart (Pat], Stephanie Cleaver (Ryan), Eric Stone (Andrea}, Patrick Stone (Adriana), Donald Stone (Amy) and Shannon Stone. Great-grandchildren, Jacob Cleaver, Kylie Stone, Nathan Cleaver, Olivia Hart and Harper Stone.

Margaret was always an active member of her community wherever she lived. From coaching girls softball to President of the Luzerne American Legion Ladies Auxiliary to the Eastern Stars and most recently as a grandma at the Mio AuSable Schools for more than 20 years. Margret loved life and her family and showed it every day. She was extremely loved and will be greatly missed.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at the Joe and Alice Stone residence in Mio. A committal service and interment of ashes to follow at the Luzerne Cemetery at 3:00 PM
