Margaret Ida Gross

Margaret Ida Gross of Luzerne, MI went home to the Lord on July 2, 2021. Margaret (Ida), moved back to her hometown of Luzerne In 2019, from her longtime home in Andalusia, Alabama.
Margaret (Ida), was born in Luzerne MI in March of 1937 to Arthur and Jennie (Teets) Buchanan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Gross.
Ida was a strong spirited woman who lived her life fully. She didn’t allow the pitfalls of life to bring her down. After recovering from meningitis in 1980, which left her totally blind, she went on to live a full and rewarding life with the help of her Seeing Eye dogs. She attended college, learning the bus routes to travel throughout cities in California and later in Alabama.
She will be missed by those who loved her. We wish her peace.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private ceremony will be planned at a later date.
