Manford D. "Dino" Plake

Manford Dean "Dino" Plake, Jr., age 88, of Mio, MI, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at The Villa at Rose City, Michigan.
Manford was born in Danville, Illinois on June 15, 1929, a son of the late Bessie (Smoot) and Manford Dean Plake, Sr, He served his country in The US Army during The Korean War. He worked as a lineman for Michigan Bell Telephone for 43 Years. He was a Life Member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles #2887, Waterford, MI and a member of The American Legion Post #162 of Luzerne, MI. He enjoyed Bowling, golfing, bow hunting and playing Bingo.
Surviving are his Children: Deena Johnson, Tim Plake, Phillip Plake , Chris Brewer, Randal Brewer and Jeffrey Brewer. 15 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wife Wanda Jean Plake, 4 sisters and son Russell Brewer.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, No services are planned.
