Mrs. Madeline H. Johnson, 73, of Lewiston passed awayTuesday, June 12th, 2007 at The Home at AuSable Valley Community, Fairview, Michigan.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 15, 2007 from 5-9 p.m. at The Lashley Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at The Mio Church of Christ, Mio, Michigan, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16th, 2007 with Minister Frank Beek officiating.
Interment will be at Mentor Township Cemetery Mentor Township, Michigan.
Madeline completed cosmetology schooling and worked at her own beauty shop.
She was proud to be a homemaker and enjoyed cake decorating, painting, crocheting and knitting, and tending to her flower gardens.
She was the wife of Johnnie Johnson, Sr. Married December 22, 1951 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. They have celebrated 55 years of marriage.
She was a member of The Mio Church of Christ. Madeline was passionate about her work for the church.
Survived by husband Johnnie Johnson, Sr.
Son: Johnnie (Cynthia) Johnson, Jr. of Lewiston, MI.
Grandchildren: Johnnie Johnson III & Jeffrey Wayne Johnson
and four great grandchildren.
Sister: Lois (William) White of North Carolina.
Brother: Bud Harvey of Georgia.
