M. Marie Gorman

M. Marie Gorman, age 70 of Mio, MI, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at her home near Mack Lake.
Marie was born on March 27, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Alvin and Nellie (Penno) Ferns.  She married Robert ""Buddy"" Gorman on November 9, 1968 in Dearborn, MI.  The couple lived in Dearborn Heights, where Marie was a homemaker and mother.  They moved to Mack Lake upon Buddyâ??s retirement in 1994.  Marie enjoyed playing BINGO, sewing, and working on her computer.
Marie is survived by her husband Robert ""Buddy"" Gorman of Mio, MI; her son Robbie William Gorman of Westland, MI; her grandson Trevor Gorman of Gibraltar, MI; her niece Donna Shorkey of Birmingham, MI; her dear friends:  Richie & Vicki Pelkey of Rochester Hills, MI; and Darren Salmon & Sabrina Bello of Royal Oak, MI; and her beloved Puggle dog-""Peanut"".  She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Mark Gorman.
In accordance with Marieâ??s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
