Lyle E. Handrich

Lyle E. Handrich, Sr., age 82 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at his home on Monday, January 3, 2022.
Lyle was born in Fairview, Michigan on June 8, 1939 to Jacob and Ruth (Yoder) Handrich. He graduated from Fairview Schools with the Class of 1957. Lyle served his country in the US Air Force. After his service, he lived in Davison, Michigan and worked as a Forklift Driver for GM-Flint for 30 years. He settled back in Mio in 1996. Lyle attended the Fairview Mennonite Church. He had enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, shooting pool, and his model trains.
Lyle is survived by his wife Diana; his children: Brenda Jean (Dan) Rinke, Jeff (Diana) Burton, and Trent Handrich; his siblings: Dean Handrich, Dorothy Kauffman, and Sharon Holberton; his brother-in-law Lowell Miller; 18 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Shirley Miller, and his brother Dwight (Grace) Handrich.
Visitation on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 3 – 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI. He will also lie in state from 10 AM until Funeral Services at 11 AM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Fairview Mennonite Church with Associate Pastor Lowell Eastman officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan.
