Lotis Boyd Miller

Mr. Lotis Boyd Miller, age 80, of Fairview, MI passed away on Friday, September 7, 2007, at The Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview.
Visitation Monday, 4 - 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home. Funeral Service on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM at The Fairview Mennonite Church, Fairview, with Pastors Cody Gascho and Virgil Hershberger officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
Lotis was born in Fairview on January 2, 1927 to the late Chancy and Carrie (Beachy) Miller. He married Catherine L. (Ropp) in Pigeon, MI on August 27, 1955. He was a retired Owner and Operator at Fairview Sand and Gravel and was a member of The Fairview Mennonite Church, Gideons International and had served on the Comins Township Board.
Lotis is survived by his wife Catherine, daughter Gail Hoppe of Mio; son Kent Miller of Goshen, IN; brothers: Richard (Madeline) Miller of Port Charlotte, FL, Willard (Clara) Miller of Fairview and James (Judi) Miller of Salem, OR. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Erica, Aaron, Kala, Amanda and Dustin and 1 sister-in-law Esther Miller.
Lotis was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Ruth Miller, Edna (Edwin) Gascho, Mildred (Carl) Neff and his twin brother Otis Miller.
