Lorrie Jane Lab

Lorrie Jane Lab, age 61 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

Lorrie was born in Owosso, Michigan on December 24, 1957 to Lloyd and Glenda (Richards) Sutton. She worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide and as a Mental Health Group Home Aide. Lorrie really loved her dogs Mikey and Peaches. She enjoyed camping, coffee and fried chicken, fishing, and tubing down the AuSable River.

Lorrie is survived by her mother Glenda Jean Majors; her daughter Leslie Lab; her step-children: Lorrie Bullard, Christine Lab, and T.J. Lab; her sisters: Monica Sutton, Ruth McGinnis, Lisa Daniels, and Becky Ishii; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Sutton, and her sister Lloydine (Maggie) Savory.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned. The family would like to express special thanks to Heartland Hospice and Nurse Hanaha for their compassion and caring.
