Lorraine Barbara Schwabe,

(August 13, 1932 – March 11, 2019)

Age 86, of Milford, MI, formerly of McKinley, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Medilodge of Milford.

Lorraine was born in Hamtramck, Michigan on August 13, 1932 a daughter of the late Marie Elizabeth (Williston) and Frank Kaulsky. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crafting, reading and had been an active member of the McKinley Civic Association.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gerald F. Schwabe, children: David Frankford of Holly, Michael (Elise) Frankford of Milford, Sheryl Schwabe (Brandon Parkes) of Superior, CO, and Susan (William) Nuttall of Ypsilanti. Her sister Charlotte (Gerald) Buchanan of Warren and sister-in-law Marjorie Kaulsky of Ferndale. Her grandchildren Amy, Amber, Michael, Christian, April, Connor, Elijah, Abbey, Tom, Daniel, Edward and Leo, and her great grandchildren Amaya, Azalea, Sebastian, Courtney, Christine, Candice, Allisa, Autumn, Destiney and Amanda along with 9 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Doris Weiss, Vicki Justice, Shirley Rahn and brother Frank Kaulsky.

Lorraine was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and grandmother and a devoted sister.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
