Lore T. Bigelow

Lore Bigelow, age 89 of Roscommon, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Mission Point Nursing Facility in Roscommon, Michigan.Lore was born on November 25, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Martha K. Olkkonen-Wedlake of L'Anse, MI. and the daughter of the late Mark E. Siegel of Marquette, MI and granddaughter of the late Sakari and Sophia (Hepo Oja) Olkkonen. Lore graduated from L'Anse High School in 1948. She was a homemaker, enjoyed playing the piano, reading and watching classical movies.

Lore is survived by her daughters Susan (Raymond) Reasner of Rose City, MI; and
Charmaine Beers of Texas; granddaughters Shannon (Ron) Mullins, Charlene Rodriguez and Kasey Beers; and great-grandchildren Giavanna, Aleaha, Solomon, Jeremiah, and Malakhi of Texas. Family members also include:
Darlene Hill of Skanee, Joan Hill of L'Anse, Patricia (Henry) Clow of Aura, and Arthur Hill of Dollar Bay.

Lore was preceded in death by her daughter Virginia (Leonard) Dexter of
Florida, her aunts Aino Hill and Kerttu-Robin Rintala; her uncle Arne Olkkonen, and her
cousins John Hill, and Dr. Karl Hill of L'Anse.
Internment of ashes will take place at South Range Cemetery in South Range, MI at a later date.
Memorials could be directed to the Aino Hill Scholarship Endowment Fund
with the Baraga County Community Foundation, PO Box 352, L'Anse, MI,. 49946.
