Linda L. Liss

Linda L. Liss, age 66 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at The University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI on Thursday, September 11, 2014.
Linda was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 14, 1948 to Byphell and Betty (Crowell) Batton. She lived in Niles, Michigan. In 1990, she settled in Mio, Michigan, where she married Tom on May 12, 1990. Linda had been a past member of the Mio Dummy Club Auxiliary. She had enjoyed ceramics and needlepoint.
Linda is survived by her husband Thomas A. Liss of Mio, MI; her children: Kelly (Megan) Crabtree of Niles, MI; James Crabtree of Niles, MI; Thomas Liss of South Gate, MI and Dennis (Shaun) Liss of Linden, MI; her brothers: Roger, Tim (Jackie), and Allen Batton; and her grandchildren: Maddie, Dakota, Samantha, Montana, and Bridgette. She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant daughter.
Visitation on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 1-4 PM and from 6-9PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan, with a Vigil Prayer Service offered by St. Mary Parish, Mio, MI at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mio, MI, with Fr. Santiago Hoyumpa as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
