Leroy Henry

LeRoy Lawrence Henry, age 83 of Luzerne, MI, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at his home.
LeRoy was born on May 26, 1929 in Birmingham, Michigan to Howard and Lulu (Smith) Henry.  He served in the US Army during the Korean War era.  He married Esther M. (Saliard) Henry on March 14, 1953 in Angola, IN. They made their home in Detroit, MI, where LeRoy worked for Kelsey-Hayes Company as a machine repairman for 29 years, retiring in 1989.  They moved to Luzerne 22 years ago from Detroit.  LeRoy was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Surviving are his children:  Sheree Jantovsky of Howell, MI; Denise (Michael) Beno of Fowlerville, MI; Larry (Debra) Henry of Howell, MI; Dennis Henry of Houghton Lake, MI; Lester (Diane) Henry of Southgate, MI; John Henry of Howell, MI; and Dale Henry of Luzerne, MI; 11 grandchildren: Sharna, Amy, Heather, Jason, Mary, Wayne, Timmy, John, Jake, Logan, and Landon; and 11 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Esther in 2000; his grandson Larry Jantovsky; and his brothers and sisters.
In accordance with LeRoyâ??s wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
