Laura M. Perry

Laura Mae Perry, age 80, of Rose City, MI, formerly of Juddville, MI, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Bortz Health Care Center in Rose City, MI.  In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 1 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan with Reverend Marcel Lamb of the Mio United Methodist Church officiating.
Laura was born on April 9, 1931 to George and Blanche Casemore.  She lived in Juddville, near Corunna, MI, and graduated from Owosso High School with the Class of 1949.  Laura enjoyed embroidery, puzzles, Bingo, travelling, and playing cards.  She was also an avid collector of cat memorabilia.  She moved from Juddville to Rose City 20 years ago to be closer to her daughter and her family.
Laura is survived by her daughter Pamela (Allan) Burl of Rose City, MI; her sister Evelyn Judd of Corunna, MI; her grandchildren:  Andrea Burl and Anthony Burl; 7 great grandchildren: Justin, Delana, Samantha, Alyssa, Anthony, Blake, and Destiney; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband Richard Perry in 1980; her brothers: Vernon Casemore and Duane Casemore; and her grandson Christopher Burl.
