Kristie Marie Spann

Kristie M. Spann, age 42 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord, Michigan on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Kristie was born in West Branch, Michigan on January 13, 1975 to John and Judy (Weighman) Smith. She was raised in Tawas and moved to Mio ten years ago. She married Eric on April 13, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. The couple lived in Mio. Kristie enjoyed cooking, kayaking, gardening, and barbecues with friends.
Kristie is survived by her husband Eric Spann of Mio, MI; her mother Judy Danes of Mio, MI; her father John (Marty) Smith of Fairview, MI; Grandmother Lila Weighman; 4 children: Jaydin Smith, Cadence Borch, Noah Lawler, and Tyler Crouse; 5 sisters: Laurie, Karen, Kay, Kim, and Steph; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be directed to the wishes and needs of the family.
