Keri Jean Taylor

d. February 21, 2015

Keri Jean Taylor passed away on the evening of February 21st, in the comfort of her home surrounded by those who loved her most. Keri is survived by her husband Scott, her three sons Jeremy (Jamie Zelek), Justin, and Jacob, her brothers Kenton Kauffman (Charlene Chirillo), Scott and Kat Kauffman, several nieces and nephews, and her parents Dorothy and Okie Kauffman. Keri was a strong woman who always put others' needs above her own. Whether that meant her husband, her three boys, or the countless elderly people she spent time taking care of over the years; Keri always put her own needs on the back burner for the sake of others, and she did so with or without the appreciation she deserved, all while running a household and being the foundation of the family. She was a simple woman, who loved the simple things in life. She loved yard sales. She loved American Idol, Wheel of Fortune, and Judge Judy, all shows in which she'd never miss an episode of. She loved crime dramas and black and white movies. She loved a wide variety of music, including bands like REO Speedwagon. She loved singers Chris Daughtry and Adam Lambert. Keri was a sweet woman, she was easygoing and loving and she will be deeply missed, but in each family member she has left behind she has also left a portion of her strength and love and courage, as well as plenty of beautiful memories of her, which will provide for us what we need to endure and carry on.
