Kenneth R. VanDusen

Mr. Kenneth R. VanDusen, 72, of Mio, passed away Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007 at Northern Michigan Hospital, Petoskey,MI.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 at 12:30 PM at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church, Mio, with Pastor Elizabeth Chace officiating.
Kenneth was born on August 22, 1935 in Detroit, MI to the Late Ralph & Ruth (Cunningham) VanDusen. He married Kathleen M. (Webb) VanDusen on Sept 10, 1955 in Redford Township, MI. He retired as a Hydraulic Repairman at Ford Motor Company's Saline Plastic's Plant Saline, MI. after 30 years of service. The couple moved to Mio in 1996 from Belleville, MI. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2005 in Las Vegas, where they renewed their Wedding Vows. He had proudly escorted his 1st granddaughter, Danielle, down the aisle at her wedding Sept. 22, 2007.
Kenneth was a member of St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church, Mio. He enjoyed photography and shared a loving bond with his dogs Tank and Lucky.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Kathleen M. (Webb) VanDusen; daughter: Linda VanDusen of Mio, daughter in law: Dewana VanDusen of Ypsilanti, MI and 3 grandchildren: Danielle Dean, Desarae Van Dusen and Deanna VanDusen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Mark VanDusen.
