Kenneth Charles Romska

Kenneth C. Romska, age 69 of Fairview, Michigan, passed away at his home on Monday, August 20, 2018.

Kenneth was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 23, 1948 to Gerard and Rita (Westveld) Romska. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Kenneth married Christine Trowbridge in Capac, Michigan on January 30, 1982. They moved to Fairview 30 years ago from Attica, MI. He had worked for Vlasic Food Services as a quality control supervisor, and later on at Kneeland Industries. Kenneth was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved camping, car rides, traveling, and watching sports.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Christine of Fairview, MI; his children: James Romska of Mt. Pleasant, MI; Ruth (Arthur) Meier of Lapeer, MI; Quinn (Brittney) Romska of Fairview, MI; and Lacy Romska, also of Fairview, MI; his siblings: Timothy (Jannie) Romska of Lapeer, MI; Faith (Ray) Southwell of Alaska; Terry Romska of Gladwin, MI; and Nadine (Chris) Barnes of Harrison, MI; 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4 – 9 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, and again on Saturday August 25, 2018 from 11 AM – 1PM with Funeral Services at 1 PM with Pastor Kevin Salsbury officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice of Helping Hands of West Branch.
