Kenneth E. Grimmett, Sr.

Kenneth Grimmett died of natural causes at the age of 93 on Monday Morning April 1st, 2024.  Kenneth was born on November 25th, 1930 and was married to his wife and best friend Shirley Grimmett who passed in December of 2023 after 58 years of marriage.

Both Kenneth and his wife Shirley had long term ties to the Comins, MI community where Ken Grimmett’s parents resided prior. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with Shirley during their retirement.  He was a very skilled wood craftsman from building miniature hobby sail boats to major home improvements. Prior Kens retirement Kenneth worked in the trucking and related distribution industry.  He loved his children and grandchildren deeply of which was displayed by many photos throughout their home.

Son - Ken Grimmett Jr., his wife Kim and their children, Jacob, Joshua, Joseph and Grandchildren.
Daughter – Kathlene Stanley, her husband Barry Stanley and their children Taylor Westerhausen, Cannen Stanley and Grandchildren.
Son’s - Dave and Gary Grimmett
Stepson - Tom Munsie, his wife Patty and their children, Kristen, Shannon, Samantha and grandchildren.

Kenneth will be missed by all those who loved him. There will be no formal services as we honor the wishes of Kenneth.
