Kathy Lynn Meadows, age 43, of Mio, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 8th, 2007 at Grayling Mercy Hospital.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at The Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 17th, with Pastor Russell Bowman officiating.
Kathy was born on Aug. 1, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan. She was raised in Detroit and Tennessee, setteling in Mio. where she was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed playing Bingo, tending to her several cats and spending time with her son Kenny.
Surviving are her son: Kenneth Meadows, Jr. at home, her father: Robert Nichols of Yale, MI and mother: Thelma (Cates) Nichols of Clinton Township, TN.; sisters: Glenna (Dave) Hall of Grayling, MI, Margaret (George) Ott of Knoxville, TN and Sharon (Armond) Holst of Seymour, TN; her fiance Scott Emerick; 2 step brothers: Steve and Roger Branaum and several nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Meadows, Sr., daughter Sabrina Bannasch and son Robert Bannasch.
She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
Memorials donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
