Kathryn J. Brown

Kathryn J. Brown, age 88, of Curran, MI, formerly of Onekama, MI, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011, at The Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview, MI.
Kathryn was born in Scott County, Missouri on August 19, 1923 to J.C. and Oscie E. (Wells) Hargarve.  She had worked as a secretary for Reliable Forge Die & Engineering in Fraser, MI for many years.  Kathryn had lived in Redford Township, Sterling Heights, and Onekama, MI before moving to Curran, MI in May of 2011.
Surviving are her sons:  Robert (Connie) Brown, Richard (Maude Hennis) Brown, and Donald (Paula) Brown; her 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Luther Carter Brown; and one great grandchild.
Visitation Tuesday, October 4, 2011, from 11:00AM -11:15 AM at the Chapel at Cadillac Memorial Gardens â??East, Clinton Twp, MI  with a Committal Service following, officiated by Pastor Connie Cavender.
