June Yost

Mrs. June Lee. Yost, age 83, of Mio, passed away Tuesday, April  5, 2011 at  The Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview.
June was born on June 2, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to Stewart E. and Ruth A. (Henwood) Williamson.  She married Quinten Yost in 1946.  They moved to Mio shortly thereafter.  June was a Charter Member of Mio Baptist Church.  She worked for 27 years as Supervisor of the lunchroom program at Mio AuSable Schools.
Surviving are her sons:  David (Shelly) Yost of Northville, MI; and Daniel (Geri) Yost of Canton, MI; her grandchildren:  Erica Yost, Jennifer Yost, Kimberly (Jacob) Dubuc, Carli Yost, and Brett Yost; her great-grandchildren:  Micah Dubuc and Hudson Dubuc; her nephews:  Randy (Edith) Yost, Tim (Delma) Yost, and Mark (Jan) Yost; and her dear friends Tom and Sandy Huber.  June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Quinten Yost, and her sisters:  Norma (Rudy) Valencic and Ruth (Otto) Yost.
Visitation Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 3-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI and again on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 10 AM until funeral service at 11 AM at The Mio Baptist Church, with Rev. Glynn McMorris officiating.   Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, MI.
