Judy Booth

Mrs. Judy C. Booth, age 72 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Grayling on Thursday, August 29, 2013.
Judy was born in Tallapoosa, Missouri on August 8, 1941 to David and Claudie (Johnson) Hargraves. She moved to Commerce, MI in 1956.  Judy married James Booth on August 6, 1960 in Union Lake, MI.  The couple settled in Luzerne in 1978.  She worked at Rite Aid in Mio and in housekeeping at Mercy Hospital in Grayling, retiring in 2006 after 10 years of service.  She enjoyed reading and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband James of Luzerne, MI; her children: J. Randy (Missy) Booth of Mio, MI; Jeffery (Cheryl) Booth of Imlay City, MI; Jamie Booth of Mio, MI; and Jodie (Kevin) Peters of Mio, MI; her grandchildren: Kristen (Adam), Tylor, Rachael (Jason),Tucker, Erin, Desiree (Corey), Jami Lynn, Samantha, Shelby, Chase, Brianna, and Bird and 3 great grandchildren: Lillian, Julianna, and Amelia. She is also survived by her brother Terry (Cheryl) Hargraves of West Branch, MI; her sister-in-law Bonnie Hargraves of Gladwin, MI; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents:  Dave & Claudie Hargraves; her brother Stanley Hargraves; and her sister Paula Jean White.
Visitation on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 1-4 and from 5-8 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, and again on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 12 Noon until the time of Funeral Service at 1 PM at the Mio New Hope Assembly of God Church, Mio, with Mr. Cletis Bishop officiating.  Interment to follow at Luzerne Cemetery, Luzerne, Michigan.
