Joshua James Watson

Josh was born February 28th, 1987 in West Branch, MI to Alvin Watson Jr. and Paula North. Josh was raised in Mio and attended Mio AuSable School. This is where Josh began his interest in sports, and played basketball and football. Josh worked in the guardrail business and tree business for many years. Josh enjoyed spending time with family and friends, trips down the AuSable River, bonfires in the summer, fishing and hunting and watching Michigan Football and Basketball.

Josh is survived by his parents: Alvin (Dezerae) Watson Jr, Paula North; Grandparents: James and Donna North; Siblings: Meagan (Josh) Addis and Alvin Watson III; Children: Leland Watson and Connor Watson; Aunts: Dawn, Kristy, Kim, Lynn and LeeAnn; Uncles: Brian, Jason and Matt; Nieces: Adihlyn and Aubree, Nephews: Aiden and Jaxson and several cousins. Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents, great grandparents, a great aunt and a great uncle.

A memorial service will be held January 16th, 2021 at Lashley Funeral Home in Mio 10am-12pm for family and 1pm-3pm for friends to remember Josh. Josh was taken away from the people who loved him dearly far too soon and will be missed by many but will never be forgotten. Forever in our hearts until we meet again. We love you Josh. According to wishes a cremation as taken place.
