Joshua Louis Colburn

Joshua L. "Fat Boy" Colburn, age 36 of Mio, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Bay City, Michigan.

Joshua was born in Sandusky, Michigan on December 10, 1981 to David Colburn and Sarah Haynes. He moved to Mio when he was in the 6th grade and graduated from Mio High School with the Class of 2000. Joshua graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Physical Science from Kirtland Community College. He worked as a Machinist for H B Carbide of Lewiston for the last 13 years and was a Volunteer Firefighter in Luzerne for the past 3 years. Joshua enjoyed darts, pool, and volleyball.

Joshua is survived by his mother Sarah (Bob) Daniels of Bellaire, MI; his father David Colburn of Ubly, MI; his sister Elizabeth Marsh (Grant Shephard) of Mio, MI; his nieces Lexus Marsh and Emma Shephard; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his nephew Taylor Marsh and his grandmother Deana Colburn.

Visitation on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 4 – 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, and again on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 10 AM until the Funeral Services at 11 AM, also at Lashley Funeral Home, with Pastor Chris Bones officiating. Interment will follow the service at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
