Joseph L. Wozniak Sr.

Joseph Lloyd Wozniak, Sr., age 61, of Luzerne, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Grayling Mercy Hospital.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Joseph was born on June 9, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Delores Wozniak. He worked for Chrysler Motor Company as an assemblyman and a hi-lo driver at the Lynch Road Plant and also at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant for 35 years; retiring in May of 2000. He married Nancy A. (Belli) Wozniak on September 3, 1966. The couple moved to Luzerne upon their retirement. Joseph was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Joseph is survived by his wife Nancy; his children: Joseph (Melissa) Wozniak, Jr. of Warren, Michigan; and Judith Ann (Scott) Hutyra of Clinton Township, Michigan; his 4 grandchildren: Jordan, Ryan, Lindsey, and Julianna; his sister Sue (Tom) Vengris of Ceres, California; his brother Marty Wozniak of Fraser, Michigan; and his step mother Nona Eschenburg of Clinton Township, Michigan.
