Joseph R Shobe

Joseph Roy Shobe, age 44 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at Corewell Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Joseph was born in Howell, Michigan on May 24, 1980.  He lived in Oscoda County most of his life. Joseph worked as a line cook in the area for 25 years. He loved his kids, his family, and his friends. He loved riding his bike and spending time with family.

Joseph is survived by his wife Rachel (Abbe) Shobe; his mother Sue Ann Braley; his children: Tyler Shobe, Madison Shobe, Austin Shobe, and Brantley Shobe; Nieces: Samantha Kowalski and Sabrina Mathews; and many nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Roy Shobe and his sister Jennifer Aikens.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Mio Moose Lodge #1035 at 2 PM.
